September October School Holidays Sorted with our City-wide Calendar

Families looking for ways to keep children entertained, active and inspired these school holidays can now explore the City's September October School Holiday Calendar, packed with activities, workshops and events taking place across Mandurah.

This calendar brings together a wide range of free and low-cost opportunities for children and young people of all ages, making it easier than ever for families to plan a fun-filled holiday close to home.

From creative workshops and hands-on crafts to sporting clinics and youth events, there is something for everyone. Young artists can unleash their imagination through workshops with illustrator and cartoonist Mark Guthrie, take part in our Yarn Bombing day as part of the Mandurah Arts Festival or enjoy a variety of craft activities hosted across Mandurah's libraries.

Children and teens looking to stay active can test their skills at futsal and netball clinics, join dance and fitness sessions, try gymnastics or roll into the popular Roller Disco. Aquatic enthusiasts can take on the AQUAtron inflatable obstacle course or improve their swimming skills through the 5-Day Holiday Swim Program. Families can also join in over 50 short activity sessions at the MARC Come and Try Day.

The holidays also offer plenty of opportunities for young people aged 11-25 to connect and compete through battle karts, trivia night, boxing, cooking workshops, Wellness Wednesday and sports competitions. 

For those interested in arts, culture and local history, the Sea Monsters Prehistoric Ocean Predators exhibition and kids activities at the Museum provide engaging experiences that encourage learning through exploration. The Mandurah Arts Festival will showcase some of WA’s finest talents with an eclectic and exciting month-long program of events that include exhibitions, performances, workshops and so much more.

Many activities are free or available at a low cost, helping ensure local families can access quality holiday experiences regardless of budget. Events will be held across a variety of locations including Mandurah Museum, Libraries, the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre (MARC), Billy Dower Youth Centre and community venues.
